Singer Ed Sheeran released a new musical release as a result of a partnership with Rio de Janeiro rapper Chefin. It is a remix of the song “2steps” that is already available on streaming platforms.
The partnership can be very positive to consolidate Brazil in the international music industry, which has turned its eyes to the country even more after Anitta’s success with “Envolver”, which reached the top of the list of the most listened to songs on Spotify this year.
“I am very happy with the opportunity. The most listened to artist in the world with 80 million on Spotify”, posted Chefin on social media.
Ed Sheeran’s visit to Ukraine
In April, Ed Sheeran released the video for “2steps” which was recorded in Kiev, in the Ukrainian capital, a few days before the Russian invasion of the country. The video begins with a black screen conveying the message that the song was recorded before “the devastating acts of violence began”. During his stay in the country, the singer says that the population was very hospitable.
“I stand with Ukraine, and I will donate my copyright from the YouTube video streams to the Humanitarian Appeal for Ukraine created by the Disaster Emergency Committee,” said Sheeran.
