With the objective of offering professional qualification in technology, edtech Kenzie, in partnership with BK Brasil, master franchisee of the Burger King and Popeyes brands in the country, promotes the BKB Code, a free introductory course to programming with places available for the entire parents. Classes take place between May 23 and 26, starting at 7 pm, with live broadcast on the programming school’s Youtube channel, however, subscribers will still have access to the material, recorded, for a period of one month. Interested parties must register on the project website, from May 9 to May 25, 2022.
To participate in the classes it is not necessary to have any previous knowledge in programming, because during the course, students will have the opportunity to have an overview of the technology market, in addition to learning the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, the main programming languages used by the market. During the course, participants will develop a project that will serve as an initial portfolio for the student. In addition, at the end of the course, all participants will receive a certificate and the top six will receive mentorship with technology executives from Burger King Brasil.
Daniel Kriger, CEO of Kenzie, explains:
“We are very happy to be able to develop this super project with BK Brasil and to be able to bring programming knowledge to several people from different regions of the country. Through the course we will be able to show that it is possible to start a great career in this segment, which is one of the most promising today.”
For Marcia Baena, Vice President of People & Management at BK Brasil, this is an essential project to promote knowledge and professional qualification in the area of technology, in a way that is totally related to the pillars and values promoted by the company. According to her:
“We believe that through the BKB Code, it will be possible to promote fundamental learning for the personal and professional growth of several young people in the country, including our own employees, who will be invited to participate through internal engagement actions. With this, we want to encourage more and more people to look at an area of constant rise in the market.”
