On May 18, the Reese’s brand, imported by The Hershey Company to Brazil, celebrates the date “I Love Reese’s Day”. To celebrate, the brand will promote actions with influencers on Instagram, TikTok and Twitch, in addition to a partnership with The Insiders agency, offering product samples and 15% discount coupons on Hershey’s e-commerce. The date was created in 2010 in the United States by Reese’s fans to celebrate the passion for the brand.
In Brazil, the action aims to promote experimentation and engage consumers, showing the different ways to taste Reese`s. Ice cream, three floors, by the edges, in a few bites, there’s no wrong way to eat. Everyone can choose and create their own experience. The 18th of May – which is already a tradition in the American market – is an excellent opportunity to communicate to chocolate lovers that the number 1 brand in the United States is also present in Brazil and can be purchased, in addition to the main supermarket chains, by e-commerce.
In partnership with the agency BETC HAVAS, Reese’s selected a team of content creators on Instagram and TikTok with a focus on generation Z, such as actor João Guilherme (@joaoguilherme), the influencer Nathalia Gibson (@nathaliagibson), in addition to English teachers who live in Brazil, Teacher David (@teacherdavid), Amanda and Aline Pires (@togethertips) and gamer, Gabriel Toledo (@fallen). Influencers will be challenged to invite the public to celebrate Reese’s Day and show, in a humorous and fun way, that everyone can have a favorite and unique way to eat Reese’s.
Consumers will also be impacted on social media with 15-second videos that will direct them to Hershey’s e-commerce and official brand profiles. To guarantee the 15% discount coupon, the consumer must access the Hershey’s e-commerce, between May 16th and 31st, and enter the code “ILOVEREESES”.
