Partnership aims to add value and articulation within the virtual games segment
Omelete Company and Big Festival have teamed up for the 2022 edition of the event, which takes place between the 7th and 10th of July.
The partnership aims to add value and articulation within the virtual games segment as a whole, in addition to reinforcing the importance of the event within the independent games scenario.
“BIG Festival has already established itself as America’s premier video game industry event. The arrival of Omelete Company reflects this moment of expansion that we are experiencing. We are very happy with this partnership and we can only get very high expectations from it”, commented the festival director, Gustavo Steinberg.
For Pierre Mantovani, CEO and partner of Omelete Company, the event and the partnership between the brands is the result of a new moment for games and eSports in Brazil. “We (from Omelete) have the role of promoting national culture, and helping the growth of the games market in Brazil. Because of this, we are very happy with the partnership with BIG”, he highlighted.
This year’s event will once again be held in person but will also maintain the online format and will feature companies such as Playstation, Xbox, Google and Tencent. In addition, industry names such as Takashi Tokita, lead designer on Final Fantasy, and David K. Lam, art director at Riot Games, are expected to attend.
The schedule will feature more than 100 lectures, game releases, participation of influencers and market names, in addition to an eSports schedule, in partnership with the NFA, the main independent Free Fire league in Brazil.
