Country wins 71 awards between gold, silver, bronze and merit; Colombia, with 31, and Argentina, with 14, occupy the subsequent positions
Africa won 8 gold pencils on The One Show, four with Salla 2032, created for House of Lapland, and four with “O Valor da Notícia”, for Folha de S. Paulo, and stood out as the agency with the most golden pencils in the region and third globally, behind Leo Burnett Chicago with 20, McCann Paris with 9.
Considering all the awards, GUT São Paulo is the one that accumulates the most recognitions, 21, with 4 gold pencils, 4 silver, 7 bronze, 6 merits. The highlight was “Hidden Spots”, created for Heinz to show ‘hidden spots’ in Call of Duty and give players time for that ‘food’ break. It took 13 awards, including 4 golds. Africa is right behind, with 18 awards – in addition to the 8 gold, there were 2 silver, 3 bronze and 5 merits.
There were also awarded works AlmapBBDO and Ogilvy, 5 each; David Sao Paulo, 4; Wieden+Kennedy, Wunderman, TracyLocke and Tátil Design, 3; VMLY&R and BETC, 2; and SunsetDDB and FBC Brasil, 1.
Overall, Brazil won 71 awards, far outperforming its peers in the region. Colombia was in second place, with 31, Agentina, 14, Mexico, 13 and Chile, 4, complete the top 5.
