One of the most recognized K-pop groups in the music market today, BLACKPINK, is on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. With that, the girls make up the third girl group in history to appear on the magazine’s front page, along with the Spice Girls (1997) and Destiny’s Child (2001).
Rolling Stone mentions that the group has renewed their contract with YG, and that a new album is on the way. In addition, more personal issues of the members are also addressed, such as their origins and obstacles throughout their careers.

The fans also went crazy with the new photo shoot of the girls, which bombed on Twitter this Monday morning (23). The theme “WELCOME BACK PLACKPINK” has reached 245k tweets so far.
