The series Heartstopperadaptation of a graphic novel by Alice Oseman, has been renewed for two more seasons by Netflixwhich drove the audience wild.
*“For those who have fallen in love with Nick & Charlie, cried watching Alice Oseman’s magical story come to life, or felt represented for the first time on screen, I’m happy to announce… Heartstopper has been renewed for TWO SEASONS MORE!”
Oseman will also return as a screenwriter, and he celebrated the decision by posting a photo of the couple who have conquered the internet in recent weeks.
The series became popular for bringing the classic innocent and pure romance of adolescence while treating the LGBT couple in a way that escapes stereotypes already seen on television, such as the premise that “most gay works are filled with tragedies”. Boys Nick and Charlie embark on a path of discovery and acceptance that every young teenager has gone through.
Oscar winner Olivia Colman will also be in the production along with other names like Yasmin Finney, William Gao, Sebastian Croft, Corinna Brown and Kizzy Edgell. The first season is now available on Netflix.
