The Japanese automaker Nissan revealed this week that it will launch a new model of electric car in the Japanese market, more popular than those that are on sale so far. The car will be an SUV and will be called Sakura, a model that already exists among the lines made by the brand, however without the electrical structure.
Check out the video of the campaign made by Nissan to promote the car in Japan:
The car was made from a not so new idea, which was already being guided by the brand since 2019. The car, in turn, does not have such a large size, as it follows an existing line of the brand. With only 4.8 meters, the vehicle is designed to circulate in large cities without a large number of passengers (although it has 4 doors instead of 2).
The model is considered light within the electric car segment, with only 1,070 kg. The trunk has a capacity of 107 liters. When it comes to the power of the new Nissan model and other technical factors, the car has a power of 47 kW and can reach a top speed of up to 130 km/h. To achieve these numbers, the model has a 20 kWh lithium-ion battery, which generates energy for up to 180 km/h.
According to Nissan, the car will have three different models: Sport, Standard and Eco. The launch is scheduled for this year, with the lowest price of 1.78 million yen, or R$67,000, in the direct conversion of the value.
