In June, Havan completes 36 years of history. Therefore, on the 25th, Havan opens the first megastore in the state of Amazonas, in Manaus. After the opening, the chain now has 172 megastores throughout Brazil.
The new store will be attached to Shopping Manaus Via Norte. Approximately 150 new direct jobs and about 650 indirect jobs will be generated. Soon, Havan should open another megastore in the city, which will also feature the Statue of Liberty, an icon of the retailer present in other locations.
The owner of Havan, Luciano Hang, emphasizes that he is very happy to celebrate the company’s anniversary by arriving in a new state. “When Havan arrives in a region, it transforms that city. We bring jobs and opportunity to many people. This store in Manaus was long awaited by the people of Manaus. Celebrating this important date with this achievement makes me very happy and grateful”, he concludes.
