Meeting organized by Estadão, representative of Cannes Lions in Brazil
The Brazilian judges at Cannes Lions 2022 gathered this Thursday (26), in São Paulo, for the traditional lunch of the country’s representatives on the festival’s jury. The meeting was organized by Estadão, the media that represents the festival in Brazil.
In this year’s edition of the festival, which takes place between the 20th and 24th of June, the country will have 23 judges. Brazil has maintained an important position, behind only the United Kingdom and the United States. We are a very creative and diverse market, and we have jurors who know how to defend and argue for the work”, said Paulo Pessoa, commercial director of Estadão.
Rafael Pitanguy, CCO of VMLY&R and judge on Glass, said that this will be his third year at Cannes as a judge. “Knowing how to listen to others is something very important and that makes it possible to discover other realities, other cultures”, he said. “It’s a learning time,” he added.
