Tiffany & Co. unveils its newest Paris address at 34 avenue Montaigne, bringing an immersive shopping experience to the heart of the 8th arrondissement. Customers can discover the Maison’s exceptional savoir-faire, renowned gemstones and signature collections. The Tiffany & Co. will also feature a curated exhibit experience of historical objects from the Tiffany Archives.
“The love affair between Tiffany & Co. and Paris has been in the works for nearly 200 years, from the earliest moments in the Maison’s history. The new Paris pop-up store is a modern embodiment of this important relationship,” says Anthony Ledru, CEO of Tiffany & Co. “It represents an innovative approach to Parisian shopping and an innovative vision of experiential retail.”
Upon entering, diners are immersed in a unique world of the brand, with displays of modern jewelry and contemporary walls inspired by Louis Comfort Tiffany’s famous leaded glass lampshades. A sense of balance in textures and patterns makes for an inspiring space that feels both elegant and inviting in each of the store’s three rooms. Customers can purchase the House’s signature designs in coveted jewelry collections including Tiffany T1, Tiffany City HardWear, Tiffany Knot and Tiffany Victoria®, as well as designs by Elsa Peretti® and Jean Schlumberger’s high-jewelry masterpieces, plus experience the exhibits throughout the space.
The jewelry store’s presence in Paris dates back to 1841, when founder Charles Lewis Tiffany’s partner, John B. Young, came to the City of Lights on a shopping trip where he discovered a variety of curiosities, jewelry and objects made in France to sell in New York. York. Nine years later, in 1850, Tiffany and Young opened a Paris shopping office on rue de Richelieu, and in 1887 Charles Lewis Tiffany purchased a significant part of the French crown jewels – further solidifying the Maison as the most important jeweler. The pop-up on avenue Montaigne will feature, for one year, a rotating selection of notable jewelry and objects from Tiffany’s historic collection, curated by OMA and AMO design partner Alba Cappallieri; the first celebrating Tiffany and Paris’ love story. Among the masterpieces are notable creations by George Paulding Farnham – the House’s chief jewelry designer from 1885 to 1908 – including a strikingly lifelike enameled orchid brooch and a gemstone-studded gold and rock crystal perfume bottle. .

The bracelet caught the attention of Annie Olivia Tiffany, daughter of founder Charles Lewis, who acquired it when she visited the jewelry store’s Parisian boutique located at 36 bis boulevard de L’Operain in 1866. A centerpiece of this pop-up exhibition experience is the original catalog for the French Crown Jewels auction — a testament to the long-standing relationship between the company and Paris.
The pop-up was designed by renowned architectural firm OMA/AMO. The location at 34 avenue Montaigne will be open from May 2022 to May 2023.
