Conmbebol granted The Walt Disney Company Latin America the rights to broadcast the continental, Libertadores and South American football tournaments until 2026.
According to Diego Lerner, President of The Walt Disney Company Latin America, the company’s strategy for broadcasts is to offer relevant content in a continuous and stable way.
“With this agreement, we offer Conmebol Libertadores on the ESPN linear channel and on our STAR+ digital platform, reinforcing our commitment to offer relevant content to our audience and remain at the forefront of sport in Brazil, Latin America and the world”, added Lerner.
In addition to the two championships, The Walt Disney Company Latin America will also broadcast, on ESPN and Star+, the Recopa game, played by the winners of the Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana.
