Warner released today, June 8, the first official trailer of Black Adam, the new production from DC. The film will narrate the story of the anti-hero (or villain, depending on the story), which gives the production its title. The protagonist will be played by Dwayne Johnsson, the Rock.

Black Adam will be DC’s first extended universe production this year, as The Batman was part of a different universe. As promised, the film should introduce new elements to the franchise, such as the Justice Society, one of the most classic teams in comics.
In addition to Dwayne Johnson, the film also features Pierce Brosnan, the eternal 007, in the role of the wizard Doctor Fate. Noah Centineo, a name known for teen movies on Netflix, also appears as the superhero Atom Crusher. Aldis Hodge plays Hawkman, Quintessa Swindell is Cyclone and Sarah Shani completes the list as Isis.
Adão Negro is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, responsible for films such as Unstoppable, The Shallows and the famous 2009 horror film, Orphan. The screenplay is by Sohrab Noshirvani, Adam Sztykiel, Rory Haines. The premiere of the feature in Brazilian cinemas is scheduled for October 20, later this year.
