With the partnership with L’Étape, the official event of the Tour de France, the brand follows the trend of people looking for both sustainable means of transport and activities that offer a better quality of life.
Vivo is the newest sponsor of L’Étape, the biggest amateur cycling event in Latin America, reinforcing its communication actions with the sports segment. The brand follows a trend of people looking for sustainable means of transport while practicing activities that offer well-being and quality of life.
“People are increasingly concerned and aware of the impacts caused on the environment and what we will leave as a legacy for future generations. The bicycle is an icon of sustainable transport and supporting outdoor sporting events brings us closer to the public that believes in agendas linked to the transformation of society through sport”, says Marina Daineze, director of Brand and Communication at Vivo.
L’Étape is the official event of the Tour de France and has been taking place in Brazil since 2015, providing infrastructure for amateur athletes to experience the European competition. The stages take place from June 24th to 26th in Rio de Janeiro and from September 23rd to 25th in Campos do Jordão/SP.
