Focusing on sustainability, Heineken debuts this Tuesday (14) the ‘Green Energy’ campaign, created by Publicis. In the film, the star – originally red – turns into a green color, starting the journey of transformation of urban spaces.
With the soundtrack of English band Jungle, the film is directed by Ian Rushel.
In December 2020, the Heineken brand announced the advance in the production and filling of beer using 100% renewable energy, at the units in Araraquara (SP), Alagoinhas (BA) and Ponta Grossa (PR), and until 2023, the brewery of Jacareí (SP).
“We believe that brands and consumers can be, together, great agents of change in this resumption, rethinking a more conscious consumption. We want to take our 100% green energy beyond production, but as an invitation to people to think about a greener future with sustainable choices in their daily lives”, said Gabriel D’Angelo Braz, marketing director for the Heineken brand in Brazil.
The initiative is part of the Green Your City platform, which works, among other things, to give new meaning to urban spaces. At the launch of the platform, Heineken illuminated iconic buildings and spots in São Paulo, Belo Horizonte and Rio de Janeiro with green energy.
