Since last year, Brastemp Retrô campaigns have covered guidelines in the territory of diversity and inclusion, with actions designed to generate a real positive impact on the community, as happened with donations to Casa Neon Cunha. And this year, in addition to the activation in the metaverse, the action will also feature a donation to CasaNem, an institution that since 2016 has been welcoming people from the LGBTQIAP+ community in situations of social vulnerability, promoting courses, workshops and debates. This connection of virtual bonds that impact and make a difference in real life is a way for the brand to break standards, consolidating its relationship and support for the community.
Brastemp brings as part of the campaign prominent influencers within the gamer universe and for the LGBTQIAP+ community, such as Mandy Candy, Sher Macedo, Raony Phillips, Bryanna Nasck, Malena and Kalera.
Mandy Candy, one of the biggest voices of the trans community in Brazil, will play the role of main spokesperson for the brand, kicking off on June 13 at 9 pm, with the “Open do Amor”, a virtual party that will take place at your apartment inside Avakin Life, broadcast on the Twitch platform. The full squad of influencers will be present at the open house through their avatars and will be part of the campaign throughout the month of June.
Filipe Alberto, Head of Strategy at BFerraz, spoke about Brastemp’s action:
“Everyone is talking about the metaverse, but as a reflection of the real world they are still not community-friendly environments. Retrô’s purpose is to spread love in all its forms and arrives there as a symbol of identification, respect and acceptance, with actions also reverberating outside the virtual. This campaign comes to make that reflection – we will only build a more diverse digital environment if we manage to solve real-world problems.”
In addition, the campaign will also feature a special schedule of posts for Brastemp’s Instagram throughout the month of June.
