Between the 12th and 13th of July, Prime customers of the brand will be able to find offers in different categories
Amazon announced the edition of the third Prime Day in the country, an event in which the company’s Prime customers have access to offers in various categories, which will take place between the 12th and 13th of July. The action represents a global project of the brand and will also be promoted in 23 other countries, such as Germany, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China and the United States.
Over the 48 hours of offers, the Brazilian operation promises to bring promotions that enhance consumers’ experience with the brand and its partners. “We are very excited, the discounts are great and we believe that customers will really like it”, said Daniel Mazini, president of Amazon Brazil.
In 2021, Prime Day had 2.2 times more sales than the 2020 edition and, in 24 hours, it transacted more products than the entire Black Friday also in 2020, according to company data. Among the most purchased categories, tools, beauty and baby care products. And the most prominent items were Fire TV Stick Lite, airfryer, the book “The divine comedy”, by Dante Alighieri, smart lamp and Omo washing powder.
Within the strategy of generating visibility for the event, the company starts with a ‘heat up’ from next Tuesday (21). You will have discounts of up to 30% in fashion; up to 25% on imported books, personal care and cleaning; 20% on food and beverages; and 15% discount on computer accessories, among other promotions.
Also from the 21st, 15% of sales made on the ‘Apoie Pequenos Negócios’, which presents stories of entrepreneurs and their products, will be directed to the Central Única das Favelas (Cufa).
To make it easier to discover items on sale, consumers can create alerts and receive notices with products they want. They should also be impacted by personalized recommendations from recent purchases or browsing habits on the website or app.
The company’s strategy for the date also encompasses a broad communication campaign, offline, digital, influencers and street furniture.
