A Marisathe largest women’s fashion chain and lingerie in the country, will be present at the sixth edition of the WME Conference (Women’s Music Event), an event that encompasses music, business and technology, created to increase the role of women in the music industry. The brand will present a masterclass exclusive on June 18th, Saturday, with the theme “Pink Noise – How fashion and music have always gone hand in hand to break paradigms”, which will be taught by Flávia Durante. THE masterclass will take place in the auditorium of Casa Natura from 4pm to 5pm, with limited spaces on a first-come, first-served basis.
At the event, Flávia will highlight how the imagery of pop music influences fashion, retail and behavior, inspiring women to express themselves and be who they really are. Communicator, businesswoman and activist, Flávia Durante is the creator of Pop Plus, the largest plus size fashion and culture fair in Latin America, today a platform that encompasses events, content, curation and consulting. Also present in the music world as a DJ, she has played in the most important clubs in São Paulo, as well as Barcelona and Lisbon and has opened shows for artists such as Kate Nash, Amy Winehouse, Janelle Monáe and Mayer Hawthorne.
To continue the Woman with a Voice concept, the Marisa prepared, in addition to masterclass, an instagrammable space, with the proposal to give prominence to all. In a scenario developed by the Play agency, the brand reproduces inspiring women’s phrases and offers a stage with a microphone for event participants to express themselves freely, connecting to the movement #Come closer that is part of this new moment of Marisa, focusing on more fashion, quality, trends and women’s self-esteem. In activation, the brand also brings a space for photos, with dressing room mirror and hanger-themed seesaw.

This year’s edition, WME Conference Phygital, a project conceived by Monique Dardenne and Claudia Assef, will feature more than 40 hours of content in the program, including conferences, panels, pitches, masterclasses, workshopsBesides shows and parties throughout the city at the Phygital Circuit, which includes the Mário de Andrade Library, the Heavy House house, the N/A Club, the Dom José Gaspar square and the Casa Natura Musical, stage for the closing party. The singer and songwriter from Rio de Janeiro, Teresa Cristina will be the godmother of the event, which will also have guests tulipa ruiz, Letticia Munniz, BadSista e Karina Buhr and many other women of music.
Tickets for the WME Conference Phygital must be purchased in advance through the Sympla platform.
