The action aims to distribute 25,000 kits with hoodies, socks, gloves, hats and hygiene items to homeless people.
SP Invisível, an organization with projects aimed at homeless people, launched the “Invisible Winter” campaign, focused on gathering warm clothing, warm clothes and personal hygiene items for homeless people.
The campaign film, produced by Café Royal and directed by Joca, film director and partner of the production company, has the song “Simples Assim”, by Lenine and Dudu Falcão as a soundtrack and highlights the urgency of the action.
“The partnership between Café Royal and SP Invisível is not recent. This is a critical social circumstance and audiovisual support contributes in a fundamental way to the dialogue with more audiences interested in contributing to the campaign’s actions”, said André Soler, founder of SP Invisível.
The objective of the campaign is to distribute 25 thousand kits with hoodies, socks, gloves, hats and hygiene items and will be carried out during the four winter months, in addition to having the expectation of raising R$ 2.5 million for the assembly of kits.
The action also includes a communication strategy on social networks to encourage the public to participate in the four-month campaign.
“The cold is for everyone. It is a sensation felt on the skin and that needs no further explanation. However, not all of them have the necessary resources to avoid being cold or, more than that, to survive it. We don’t want to naturalize more bodies killed by hypothermia on the sidewalks of São Paulo. For this reason, we will act to try to combat this harsh reality”, added André.
