In addition to the celebratory emoji, a video of Gil reading messages from fans on Twitter will also be released in celebration of the anniversary. Both actions were produced in partnership with Jangada Comunicação.

Among the most tweeted moments by Gilberto Gil fans are Arraial do Gil, the show that featured Juliette (juliette) in 2021 and Live Gil and Iza (IzaReal), held in 2020.
With a career that includes almost 60 albums and numerous works as a composer and producer, around 4 million copies sold and 9 Grammys, Gil was sworn in as the new occupant of chair 20 of the Brazilian Academy of Letters (ABL), succeeding the journalist and lawyer Murilo Melo Filho, in April.
