O Burger King won the Most Creative Brand of the Year award at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival for the 3rd time in a row, becoming the first brand to take the title in so many consecutive editions in the history of the awards. The special trophy is a tribute to brands that successfully use creativity as a lever to drive their businesses forward. Of the 24 awards received by the Burger King brand around the world, eight of them were won by Burger King Brasil, in four different pieces. This number consolidates BK Brasil as the network operation with the most award-winning campaigns in the world at the 2022 Festival – followed by Spain, with three pieces.
The winning titles were: “Burger King Bugado”, with two Gold Lions, one Silver and one Bronze, “Impossible Combo” and “How to Explain?” both with Silver and “Delivery TikTok” with Bronze.

The Burger King Bugado campaign, created by the DAVID agency, won two Golden Lions awards in the Mobile Lions category, which rewards advertising pieces developed for mobile devices, and in the Brand Experience and Activations category, which judges activations that brands make directly with their customers. The Delivery TikTok piece won the Bronze Lion in the Direct, Impossible Combo and How to Explain? were awarded with a Silver Lion in the Media category, both signed by the David agency. Burger King ends its participation in the 68th edition of the Cannes Film Festival with 24 lions, being six Gold, four Silver and 14 Bronze.
