In #Family Pride, content creators talk about building their own families
Multishow and Instagram joined forces to launch a series of six episodes, called #OrgulhoFamília, presented by professor and former BBB João Luiz Pedrosa.
In episodes, LGBTQIAP+ Instagram creators tell the stories of the family they chose, which are as family as they are blood. Among the guests are influencers Alina Durso, Hello Bielo, Lucas Rangel, Lunna Montyy, Ryane Leão, Erika Fernandes and Roberto Bete.
In the first episode, João talks with model and dancer Lunna Montyy, Dona Denísia, the model’s mother, and Evylin, his beloved daughter. Lunna talks about the importance of providing emotional and structural support for trans women and transvestites.
“We want young people to be able to express themselves authentically on Instagram and, together with people who share similar experiences, form true communities of support within our network,” said Priscila Pagliuso, communication manager for Instagram in Latin America.
The series is supported by institutions specialized in supporting the LGBTQIAP+ community, such as TODXS and the National LGBTI+ Alliance.
The episodes will be published on the Multishow profile on Instagram every Tuesday and Thursday.
“Being able to use our networks to amplify the reach of this project, expanding not only the audience, but also extrapolating the conversation beyond Pride Day, is very relevant”, said Jorge Carrasco, digital strategy manager at Multishow.
