Xbox Games With Gold: Check out the free games for the month of July

Microsoft has revealed Xbox Games with Gold games for July 2022. As usual, the freebie batch includes four games, two Xbox One titles, and two backwards compatible games originally released on Xbox 360. Once again, the new Games lineup with Gold doesn’t include anything too flashy; instead, it’s a collection of games that typically sell for $20 or less: Beasts of Maravilla Island, Relicta, Thrillville: Off the Rails, and Torchlight.

Beasts of Maravilla is the newest game from the bunch. The colorful 3D adventure game was released last June. As a wildlife photographer, you follow and observe the magical creatures that inhabit Maravilla Island. It’s a peaceful game that revolves around exploring the colorful scenery. Beasts of Maravilla Island will be free for the entire month of July. It has an average user rating of “Very Positive” on Steam, so it’s worth checking out.

Abandonedwill likely be of interest to fans of puzzle games. Played from a first-person perspective, you wear special gloves that can manipulate gravity and magnetism to solve physics-based puzzles. Over the course of the adventure, you slowly solve the mysteries of an abandoned moon base. Relicta will be free from July 16th to August 15th.

Xbox Series X and Xbox One users also have a couple of great backwards compatible games to check out next month.Torchlightis a Diablo-like stellar action RPG played from an isometric perspective. Anyone who likes Diablo’s gameplay loop will probably enjoy Torchlight. About that,Thrillville: Off the Railsis a theme park simulator that contains some truly wild (and dangerous) rides. Thrillville has over 100 missions as well as dozens of minigames. Thrillville will be free for the first half of July, and Torchlight will be available from July 16th.
