Mondelez Internacional has just announced the promotion of Renata Vieira to the position of Senior Global Brand Oreo Director. The executive served as the company’s chocolate marketing director for the last three years and will act in the new position directly from Brazil. The change will be effective from May 1st.
The executive assumes the position with the challenge of leading one of the most beloved brands by the public worldwide. “This is certainly a great personal and professional achievement. In addition, I know that this move comes with a huge responsibility, especially in the sense of female representation, since we will have a Brazilian woman guiding one of the biggest brands in the world. I am really excited about the upcoming challenges and confident that we will have good results”, celebrates Renata, new Senior Director Global Brand Oreo.
Honored by Women to Watch 2021, a project that highlights the representation of women in the communication and marketing industry, the executive has more than 20 years of market experience, having worked at large organizations in the food and beverage sectors such as PepsiCo and The Hershey. Company. She has been a part of Mondelez Brasil since 2013, where she went through the PB’s (powdered juices) and G & C (candies & gummies) categories in local and regional positions. In the last three years, she has been at the forefront of the chocolate category, in which she has collected several initiatives in innovation, brand building, sales and digital marketing.
Other changes
As a follow-up to the development and succession plan, Mondelez also announces that Fabiola Menezes, current Biscoitos Marketing Director, will assume the position of Senior Director of Chocolates Marketing, ensuring the continuity of the brand’s successful strategy and future plans. The executive has been with the company for almost three years, after having worked for large companies such as Kimberly-Clark, Seara Alimentos and BRF and acting as a branding and innovation consultant.
Felipe Pedrolli, current Senior Manager of Chocolates Innovation, will assume the position of Biscoitos Marketing Director, continuing the Biscoitos development process in Brazil. Pedrolli started his career at Mondelez Brasil 14 years ago as a marketing intern. He has built a diverse and successful history, working in different categories such as G&C, PB’s and Chocolates, in Activation, Equity and Innovation positions. He had the opportunity to work in the Trade Marketing area at Canal Moderno and was one of the leaders of the Agile Pilot in Brazil, before his current position.
