According to PROPMARK sources, the company won a tender process
The news on the market this Tuesday (5th) was the end of the partnership between VMLY&R and Habib’s. This relationship started in March 2019, when the agency was still Young & Rubicam.
And Habib’s next destination will be AlmapBBDO. According to sources heard from PROPMARK, the agency won a competition process with other companies.
In a statement released yesterday, VMLY&R said that, despite the agreement having contributed throughout this period to the strengthening of both the advertiser and the agency, the “changes in the business model and in the ecosystem of communication partners, however, led to the search for for new formats”.
The 31st of July will officially be the end of the works.
Among the campaigns carried out by the agency in the period is ‘Passo o Ponto’, developed by VMLY&R at the beginning of last year. The action was aimed at boosting membership of the Habibers loyalty club, presenting benefits such as cashbacks.
