According to the sound producer, of the partners Lucas Duque and Alessandra Ferreira, the structure was born to expand the service to the demand of the international market.
On the eve of its 20th anniversary, the production company Sonido, under the creative direction of Lucas Duque since its inception, announces news: it will open a new studio in Lisbon, Portugal. According to the company, the structure was created to expand the service to the demand of the international market.
The new studio will also promote workshops and events. “It is a new workplace that arrives in this post-pandemic phase, in which people can meet again, interact and compose ideas together, something that has been greatly damaged in recent years”, celebrates Duque, who currently lives in Portuguese capital, from where he has been developing works since 2018 for the whole of Europe, as well as Australia, Mexico and the Middle East.
Alessandra Ferreira, Duque’s partner for 11 years and commercial director of the production company, was the first to land in Lisbon. “I went there to knock on doors and offer our production services in 2018. Fortunately, we have achieved excellent creative and commercial results, producing for brands such as WhatsApp, Colgate, Vodafone, Intermarché and McDonald’s; and for agencies like FCB and VMLY&R,” she says.
Other innovations from Sonido are the new visual identity and the new website of the sound producer. The creation of the new brand is by Alexandre Perotto. “The idea is to have an identity closer to our new way of thinking about the operation, with more fluidity. Now we are able to work with the whole world, each one from their own country, if necessary”, says Duque.
Three new hires also arrive at the production company. Vavá Mayrink, who started her career in fashion, is the new project manager, integrating the production company’s global service team. Who will also act in the service is Vanessa Pazsoldan. With a focus on prospecting, the executive comes from Lucha Libre Audio. Completing the team, Anderson Soares arrives as production coordinator. With 15 years of experience in the advertising market, the professional joined the team of production companies such as A Voz do Brasil, Comando S and Jamute.
In addition to São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and, now, Lisbon, Sonido also operates in the United States, with a studio in Miami, the result of a 2015 partnership between Duque and Diego Grimblat, Argentinian and partner at Antro in Buenos Aires. Sonido Antro operates in the international market for clients such as Coca-Cola, Nike, Corona and FedEx, among others.
