Brazil is the first country in Latin America to have access to Marquee, which allows artists to segment listeners based on listening history
Spotify is launching Spotify Marquee in Brazil, a tool that manages Spotify for Artists campaigns and boosts the releases of artists and labels on the platform.
Brazil is the first country in Latin America to have access to a tool that allows artists to segment listeners based on listening history rather than broad demographics or interests.
Marquee reaches people when they’re deciding what to listen to when they’re scrolling through the feed, and through a sponsored recommendation, listeners who show interest in the song and click on the Marquee insert will be directed to the launch.
According to Spotify, the results of the tool showed that, on average, more than 15% of people accessed the release insert via Marquee in the period of two weeks and listeners who are impacted by the insert are twice as likely to save the song or add it to your personal playlists.
With Marquee and the self-service experience via Spotify for Artists, artists and their teams in Brazil will be able to create campaigns as easily as they update their profile and reach an audience in 13 markets: Austria, United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Liechtenstein, Monaco and Switzerland.
