The second phase of the “Series that move you” campaign will be launched in 17 Latin American countries and features the testimony of Brazilian Mariana Porto
Universal TV started the second phase of the “Séries que te movim” campaign, launched in 2021. Now, in addition to Brazil, the film that brings testimonials from fans of the channel’s series will be shown in seventeen countries in Latin America, namely: Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Dominican Republic, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Chile.
The campaign, conceived by NBCUniversal Brasil, went to Bogotá, Colombia, to seek more testimonies from people who had their stories marked by the channel’s series, as is the case of Brazilian Mariana Porto, who lives in the city and follows the series “Law & Order: SVU” for nearly 20 years.
In the video, Mariana says that she started watching the series with her mother when she was still a teenager and remembers that, as she grew up, she began to better understand the themes covered by the series, such as abuse, harassment and violence suffered by women, in addition to absorbing some lessons learned from his personal life and having named his daughter after one of the characters in the series.
“We are very proud to say that our campaign, developed entirely by the Brazilian team at NBCU, showed the great impact of the emotions provoked by the stories and how much this generates a genuine connection between our audience and the brand”, said Gabriel Williams, Head of Marketing and Product of NBCUniversal Brasil.
The 2022 campaign outcome includes a special feature, which is scheduled to air from July 25th, during breaks in Universal TV programming and on social media.
