It must be tiring working as a video referee and having to keep an eye on every move in a football match. But who’s to say they aren’t using all those TVs to watch other content? It is with this joke that Porta dos Fundos launched this Saturday (07/09), the skit VAR, in partnership with Pluto TV, Paramount’s free streaming service.
In the skit, with a script by Gustavo Martins, the video referees room of a soccer match receives a call from the field to confirm a move. The coach (played by Antonio Tabet) is outraged when he realizes that the other employee (Estevam Nabote) is watching content on Pluto TV, instead of analyzing the game’s moves.

In the campaign, the sketch reinforces some of the main elements that make up Pluto TV, such as the diversity that the brand seeks to bring together in its catalogue, the easy access to consume the content and the free service.
It is also worth remembering that Porta dos Fundos has a new poll on canal every Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 11 am.
