Sarah Paulson is one of those actresses who works in any kind of role. But she obviously has a special fondness for horror movies. It was announced today that the actress will star in a new film of the genre. IT IS Dust, a HULU production, which will likely arrive here via Star Plus. The film was a project for Claire Foy, but ended up falling into Sarah’s hands. Filming is expected to begin next month. Dust will tell the story of a family mother, who is haunted by her past. She encounters a menacing presence and takes extraordinary measures to protect her family.
Sarah, who was recently nominated again for an Emmy for her performance in American Crime Story: Impeachment, has several productions of the horror genre available on streaming. See some of them below:
American Horror Story – Star Plus
There are 10 seasons available on Star Plus. Sarah appeared in all but the 9th. The series is an anthology, following the most diverse genres within horror. That is, there are haunted houses, an insane asylum, a den of witches, an old hotel, etc. Sarah has been nominated for an Emmy five times for her different roles each season.
Ratched – Netflix
Miniseries that tells the story of the early life of Nurse Ratched, the film’s main villain A stranger in the nest. It all starts when she sees her working in a psychiatric hospital, but behind her impeccable appearance, there grows a dark soul. Sarah earned Critics Choice and Golden Globe nominations for her performance. However, in my opinion, it’s not one of her best moments.
run away – Netflix
Chloe (Kiera Allen) is a teenager who suffers from numerous ailments, including paralysis, which put her in a wheelchair. She is homeschooled by her mother, Diane (Sarah Paulson). But she awaits the college’s reply letter. However, the matriarch’s strange behavior makes the young woman suspicious that something is wrong. When she finds a prescription drug for her mother, the young woman starts to question everything Diane does. And she begins to suspect that something far more sinister is behind it all.
Glass – Star Plus
After completion of Fragmented (2017), Glass brings Kevin Crumb (James McAvoy), the man with 24 different personalities, who is pursued by David Dunn (Bruce Willis), the hero of Closed body (2000). The cat and mouse game between the unbreakable man and the Beast has the influence and presence of Elijah Price (Samuel L. Jackson). The latter manipulates their dates and keeps secrets about the two of them. Sarah plays a psychiatrist, Dr. Ellie Staple.
