Azul wants to take people to where the sky is bluer. This is the premise of the action that I started yesterday (2), in urban furniture spread across the cities of São Paulo and Campinas-SP.
During this week, Eletromidia’s OOH’s will be connected to the climate of the cities of Ilha de Comandatuba (BA), Aquiraz (CE), Natal (RN), Porto Seguro (BA), Jericoacara (CE), Porto de Galinhas (PE) and Salvador (BA). If the weather indicates blue sky, the urban furniture and elevators will show the respective city and will present a discount code for the purchase of travel packages to these destinations, through Azul Viagens, the company’s Tourism operator.
As a result, the coupons will grant a 10% discount on the final value of each purchase with the brand between August 1st and 9th, with travel from August 1st to December 15th. It is worth mentioning that with the travel company, the traveler can buy a package that includes round-trip air tickets, transfer, accommodation and tours of the main tourist attractions in the city.
In addition, customers will be able to enjoy the entire experience provided by Azul on their travels in Brazil, with free onboard WiFi service, live TV and onboard service with snacks and drinks at will.
Fabio Palma, co-Head of Africa, explains:
“The action is an example of user experience and OOH interaction with other media, in this case Azul’s e-commerce. Eletromidia’s digital furniture will search, in real time, the weather conditions of the participating cities through an API.”
Daniel Bicudo, Marketing and Business Director at Azul, explains:
“We chose some of the most sought after destinations on Azul Viagens and that combine with beautiful blue sky days. There are more popular and exciting destinations, such as Porto Seguro and Porto de Galinhas, but there are also package options for Comandatuba for those who want to enjoy the blue sky enjoying a more exclusive experience.”
