The Hollywood Critics Awards split their awards between TV and streaming. After all, several series that premiere here directly on streaming are broadcast on cable and even on open TV, in case of This is Us, for example. But, unlike the TV night, where most of the winners were present, the party here was a little understaffed. Most of the winners sent videos with their thanks. In the end, on Twitter, the big star turned out to be Tom Ellis (Lucifer), who delivered one of the awards. He was next to Anadela Reguera.
But, there were interesting surprises among the award-winning Hollywood critics. Severance, Dopesick e Ted Lasso were the big winners. But Selena Gomez and Sadie Sink, two huge audience favorites, forgotten at the Emmys, were also recognized. Among the special prizes, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds won the Legacy award.
