Bringing the Carnival of S. Paulo to the whole country is a source of great joy for TV Globo. The public from all over Brazil will be able to see the two biggest parades in the country, the one in S. Paulo and the one in Rio. There are four magical nights of the biggest popular party in the country, says Amauri Soares, director of TV Globo. The station broadcasts the school parades in Rio on the Sunday and Monday of Carnival, February 19 and 20.
According to Soares, the increase in the transmission of parades on the station’s schedule reflects the strength and relevance of Carnival, a celebration that also generates employment and income for many families across the country.
