“You can ask, Casas Bahia has arrived” it is with this signature that one of the largest retail chains in the country announces its arrival in Amazonas. To communicate the opening of its first five stores in the state, VMLY&R created a campaign that adapts the brand’s concept, “Everything that life asks for, Casas Bahia asks for”, to the occasion.
The animated film honors local art and culture, bringing the eyes of the residents, and features the illustrations by the Amazonian artist Raquel Teixeira, who uses references from the State such as the forest, folklore, life by the river and the Theater Amazonas interspersed with images of some products that will be sold in stores.

The musical arrangements of the film were also created/thought out by artists from the state. Via, which owns the chain, expects that by the end of this year another 11 stores will be opened in strategic regions of the state. With the new units and the distribution center, more than 1,500 new job openings were created, generating a strong impact on the local economy. In addition to the five physical stores, consumers will also be able to purchase more than 46 million items on the Casas Bahia marketplace.
