The ninth edition of Expocine, to be held at Cine Marquise and Hotel Renaissance, in So Paulo, between the 20th and 23rd of September, will feature a panel with a study by consultancy Hype50+ on the silver economy and opportunities for the audiovisual sector. According to the study, half of the Brazilian workforce will be over 50 years old by 2040.
The number of people aged 60 and over has increased by almost 40% in ten years, according to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE). The panel is scheduled for the 21st of September. Expocine is considered the largest cinema business fair in Latin America.
