The since-deleted image appeared to show internal documentation related to readiness for various Activision Blizzard releases, such as the recently announced pre-patch release date for WoW: Wrath of the Lich King Classic. If the image is indeed legit, WoW players can expect to get their hands on the game’s next expansion, Dragonflight, on November 28th, with the game’s pre-patch arriving about a month early on October 25th. Meanwhile, Call of Duty: Warzone 2 may launch on November 16, several weeks after the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. In addition to Warzone 2, the document lists an October 27 release for something called “COD Cortez”, which could be the much-rumored (and apparently confirmed) DMZ mode for the upcoming shooter.
In other Call of Duty news, Activision has announced a new pre-order bonus for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, and it’s a first-of-its-kind offer for the franchise. Everyone who digitally pre-orders Modern Warfare II will have access to the game’s campaign mode “until” a week early, starting October 20th. The game will officially launch on October 28. which starts September 16 on PlayStation before hitting Xbox and PC later.
Activision has released the new “Doomsayer” operator skin in Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard, but players are already pointing out huge similarities to the art in Dr Disrespect’s upcoming Deaddrop game.
