The partnership aims to give stage to emerging artists who stand out on the platform
Ita Unibanco announced a partnership with TikTok with the objective of giving stage to emerging artists that stand out in the video platform and in the country’s music scene.
The bank is the master sponsor of Rock in Rio and will take the artists to perform at Arena Ita during breaks between the shows on the Mundo and Sunset stages. The choice of this program is the result of a curatorship made by TikTok, which selected artists who were born or became popular on the platform, observing the criterion of regional and style diversity.
TikTok is a community-driven entertainment platform where everyone creates content as a form of expression, primarily through music. where the young public recognizes itself. With this collaboration, we are inviting people to actively participate in Rock in Rio, and putting them at the center of the stage, said Ita’s marketing director, Eduardo Tracanella.
The first names confirmed to perform at Arena Ita are Joo Gomes, Baco Exu do Blues, Pedro Sampaio, Fresno, Lagum, Ananda, Mc Dricka, Karen Jonz and Terno Rei. The shows will take place every day of the festival and will be broadcast simultaneously on Ita’s profile.
Music is a top priority for TikTok and we want to represent our creative community within the festival. Arena Ita is a plural stage: we have artists with months of career and others with decades. Singers and bands with songs at number one on the charts and others who are still releasing their work. As part of this collaboration project, between the 22nd and 29th of August, Ita and TikTok are promoting the action O Palco todo Seu in the official profile of the bank e. During this period, the entire squad of creators who make content for Ita at Rock in Rio will encourage the public to vote on which songs Arena Ita artists should perform at their shows.
Another part of the partnership, held on TikTok, Lets Duet, which invited Pedro Sampaio to create the jingle for Arena Ita and dancer Vanessa Lopes to put together a choreography that should be imitated by followers within the platform, between the 9th and 14th. of August. The hashtag da ao already had more than 2 billion views on the platform and the authors of the 20 best performances will win a pair of tickets to go to Rock In Rio.
