The plot is based on “Fire and Blood”, a story by George RR Martin, and takes place 200 years before the events of “Game of Thrones”.
Premiering last Sunday (21), Casa do Drago secured the largest audience for a new original series in the history of HBO. The initial success was enough for the company to confirm this Friday (26) that it has signed the renewal for the second season.
The plot is based on “Fire and Blood”, a story by George RR Martin, and takes place 200 years before the events of “Game of Thrones”, a series that won over crowds around the world.
The spin-off portrays House Targaryen, responsible for ruling Westeros for the longest time, bringing the Iron Throne to life and conquering the 7 Kingdoms, a journey that had the dragons of the family as a central element of power.
As with “Game of Thrones”, episodes of “House of the Dragon” are released gradually, weekly on Sundays at 10pm.
