HBO Max campaign aims to reinforce the role of Brazilian players in the history of the competition
HBO Max has cast the idol Adriano “Imperador” for its campaign to launch the next season of the UEFA Champions League, which has the motto Vem da Raiz.
The video, recorded in Vila Cruzeiro, Rio de Janeiro, mixes carioca funk with the traditional anthem of the Champions League and shows the former athlete reflecting on his international career.
“In such an important year for Brazilian football, we decided to give light to all this protagonism and reinforce to the local football community that we are very proud to show on our platform all the talent, determination and joy of the best Brazilian players in activity”, said Louise Faleiros, marketing director for HBO Max in Brazil.
The platform’s objective with the campaign is to reinforce the leading role of Brazilian players in the history of the competition.
