In “MusiKwai: Vozes Negras A Força do Canto Feminino”, the application will make available the plot that honors the artists of the new generation
Kwai and Aventura announced the launch of “MusiKwai: Vozes Negras A Fora do Canto Feminino”, a musical theater aspect within the app.
In partnership with the production company A Gente Faz Sries, Kwai will make available the plot that honors the artists of the new generation: Tati Quebra Barraco, Ludmilla and Iza.
The show Vozes Negras A Força do Canto Feminino, produced by Aventura, raises guidelines on black feminism, the importance and role of black singers and songwriters in the history of Brazilian music. The play was shown at Teatro Srgio Cardoso, in So Paulo and at Teatro Prudential, during the Rio season.
Now all people, from all corners of the country, will be able to get to know the show and praise the black female talents of national music. We want to increasingly democratize access to audiovisual productions and bring diversity, inclusion and representation to our users, said Antonio Abibe, director of Content and Partnerships at Kwai in Brazil.
The musical will be divided into 30 episodes of up to 2 minutes each, available on a special page in the app starting this Thursday (15th) and Kwai users will be able to access content such as excerpts and behind-the-scenes footage of the musical.
We are making history with this partnership with Kwai. Black Voices, which brings to the stage such relevant topics for the whole society, is a critical and public success, and now we will be able to take these ‘voices’ to the whole world with technology working in favor of art. We are proud to be able to share the 15 years that we have of experience on stage with an audience that, many times, would not have the opportunity to see it live, said Luiz Calainho, Business Director at Aventura.
