Lifetime channel movies are the best description of #pleasurewithguilt. You know they’re pretty basic, have unbelievable titles, and pretty absurd stories. But we end up watching it anyway. Haha! And this weekend, Lifetime has one of those “classic” programming, lol. All are 2022 productions.See below
On Friday (16), at 9:10 pm, there is the premiere of My Neighbor Serial Killer (I love these absurd titles). Heather (Monique Sypkens) lives in a quiet suburban neighborhood. When handsome, single Tyler (Brandon Santana, from 9-1-1) becomes her neighbor, she becomes intrigued. But soon after, she begins to receive news about a local serial killer on the loose and with numerous victims. That’s when Heather begins to suspect that Tyler may be involved in the murders.
On Saturday, in the same time slot, it’s time to Deadly Sins: Greed. This is part of a series of films about the deadly sins – obvious right? The plot follows the life of Zuri Maxwell (Monique Coleman, High School Musical), a woman who seems to have the perfect life. But her greed threatens to destroy everything when she meets benefactor and entrepreneur Godfrey Anderson (Eric Benét, Between Tapas and Kisses) and her wealthy aunt, Miss Viv (Lisa Raye McCoy). They have everything Zuri wants. What can go wrong?
On Sunday, also at 9:10 pm, it’s time to Deadly Sins: Wrath. Here Melanie (Donna Benedicto, from Supergirl) is a single lawyer. But then she meets Xavier (Antonio Cupo), a man who seems to be everything she’s been looking for. But Xavier’s jealousy and anger lead him to suspicious actions and dangerous threats. And Melanie will have to fight to save herself.
Good luck! Haha!
