AlmapBBDO’s CEO will be a leader in the organization’s country and also drive the ESG agenda
Filipe Bartholomeu, Scio, President and CEO of AlmapBBDO, has just received an invitation to be a Leader with Impact, by the UN Global Compact in Brazil. From now on, the executive becomes part of the group of leaders and CEOs who are changing the way of thinking and doing business in their companies, aligning managerial and operational practices with the Global Goals to accelerate the delivery of the SDGs (Development Goals). From New York, from the headquarters of the United Nations, alongside Carlo Pereira, CEO of the Global Compact, Filipe highlights that it is an honor and a serious responsibility to act on the front line with other organizations that lead the unavoidable global ESG agenda. The leader’s role is to be at the forefront of orchestrating changes in line with the Global Goals, he highlights.
To be part of the Global Compact program, CEOs are evaluated based on criteria of engagement and integrity. The analysis considers the company’s involvement with the SDG defended, the reputational analysis of the company and the executive, as well as the level of engagement with the UN Global Compact in Brazil and the alignment with the premises and commitments proposed by the initiative in the country.
As a mission, Filipe will be one of the spokespersons for ODC 10 – Reducing Inequality, which has as one of its premises to empower and promote the social, economic and political inclusion of all, regardless of age, gender, disability, race, ethnicity, origin, religion, economic or other status.
AlmapBBDO, which for years has stood out in the communication market with projects that explore the sustainable and diverse vision, is now consecrated as the first Brazilian agency to enter the ImPacto program. A solid reference in ESG, its internal committees will increasingly be guided by the inclusion of differences in the world of work, developing more plural, productive and innovative environments.
In 2020, AlmapBBDO joined the Brazil Network of the Global Compact – a voluntary corporate sustainability initiative of the United Nations (UN) -, reinforcing its commitment and constant evolution of internal sustainability practices.
In addition, since 2019, Almap has created campaigns to impact society and mobilize CEOs and business leaders to reinforce the positioning of the Global Compact brand in the country and increase knowledge about its projects to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
