Behind every successful campaign there is always planning and, in football, it couldn’t be different. The Corinthians women’s team, the Brazilian Tetracampeã, is here last Saturday (24), at Neo Química Arena, to show the power of a good campaign and consistency. The victory in the final was 4 to 1 over Internacional.
Corinthians women’s football is considered a reference in Brazil. According to the Meu Timão website, since the club reactivated the sport in 2016, in seven seasons, it has reached 15 finals and won 12, under the command of coach Arthur Elias.
Behind the successful management of the campaign, which is presented on the field, there is the name of Cris Gambaré, director of the women’s football department of the club, who in 2018 became the first female director of Corinthians.
Planning and investments have been the hallmarks of his management, which professionalized all the athletes in 2020.
Currently, the Timão women’s team has as sponsors Galera.bet, BMG, Neo Química, Spani Atacadista and Totvs. One of the results of the club’s marketing efforts is to bring the team closer to the fans.
In the decision for the Brazilian last Saturday, for example, in which Corinthians beat Internacional with goals from Jaqueline, Diany, Vic Albuquerque and Jhenifer, the support of the fans was essential in the victory of the Brabas.
The match was also historic because the club broke the South American record for the largest audience present at the stadium, in the modality, with more than 41 thousand people at the Neo Química Arena to see the final.
One of the ways to get closer to the fans has also been via social networks – the official Instagram of the Brabas already has more than one million followers.
On winning the title of the Fourth World Cup and the fact that women’s football is a reference, Cris declared that the work is the result of planning and the search for evolution.
“The commission is mirrored in all scenarios on the Globe, not only for women, but for men as well. It has support and I think that makes all the difference, including the president and the fans. The achievement is not just ours, it is national, of all women, of all the work of Brazilian football”, he said.
Today, 27th, at 18:30, the team starts the Campeonato Paulista Feminino, in a match against São José, in Fazendinha.
