Action of Transparency Brazil, carried out by AlmapBBDO, for the International Day of Universal Access to Information
This Wednesday (28) is celebrated the International Day of Universal Access to Information, and therefore, the NGO Transparncia Brasil and AlmapBBDO present a campaign to emphasize democracy as a weapon to fight corruption.
The action has as its motto Dictatorships do not end corruption. They take away the freedom to inform you, and it develops into a series of videos that seek to end the illusion that the military dictatorship would have been a less corrupt regime because there were less reports of illegal activities in the period.
Alluding to the act of resistance in journalism at the time, the new Os Ilusadas da Transparncia Brasil campaign reveals the corruption of the military dictatorship hidden by poetry.
The launch takes place with the publication, in the newspaper of Folha de S.Paulo, of an excerpt from Os Lusadas as was done in the case of censorship. Disguised in the initial letter of the poem, a QR Code leads to the first video of a series of 10. In each one, Lus de Cames himself declaims a peak case of irregularity in the military regime, as if he were declaiming a newspaper.
The campaign also has a hotsite that brings the series of poems together and more information about the scandals.
