A survey carried out by VidMob revealed that the User Generated Content increases the number of views by about 10%
Year in, year out, creators are gaining more and more relevance in advertisers’ marketing strategies. And the result of that was measured in a study by the creative intelligence platform VidMob, which revealed that videos from creators generate up to 7033% more sales.
The VidMob survey also showed that User Generated Content (UGC), or user-generated content, in Portuguese, increases the number of views by about 10%.
In addition, ads generated by creators were able to retain more audience and achieve lower costs, reducing the cost per order (CPM), also known as cost per purchase, by 98%.
However, according to the research, it is not enough just to join creators to achieve good marketing and sales results on social networks. VidMob showed that there are some elements that contribute to the success of videos. Pieces with a human presence, especially when the person looks straight ahead, are more efficient, as they create proximity to the audience.
Another conclusion was that warm colors triggered triggers that increase the sales rate, while the use of a text box generated a 23% drop in CPM (cost per thousand impressions).
To reach these conclusions, VidMob analyzed video campaigns by companies Daki, Vivara, Cora, ClickBus and Plusdin. In this survey, the pieces made with the UGC approach, created on VidMob’s proprietary platform, were compared to films without creators, produced without the help of the platform.
