PAD, one of the main Brazilian out-of-home media companies, joins again with Urban Arts, an art gallery with more than 9,000 independent artists from Brazil and the world, to bring art and awareness to Brazilian streets. Inspired by the Pink October and the beginning of Spring, the new project brings together a series of works that bring the feminine and the flora as main elements, being present throughout the month of October on PAD’s digital media screens present in three capitals: Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre and Rio de Janeiro.
In addition to giving light and space to independent works and artists, bringing art to more people through assets on public roads, the partnership aims to generate greater visibility for the importance of female self-care and the prevention and early diagnosis of breast cancer. , in addition to other campaigns linked to the date. Bringing elements connected to the pink tone, in addition to the characteristic bow that marks the date, the exhibition will feature QR Codes that lead to the Urban Arts page, where it will be possible to know more details about the work and the artists, or even purchase it.
Felipe Davis, CEO of PAD, responsible for the exhibitions with Urban Arts, highlights:
“PAD is adopting the concept of ‘Urban Media’, as it believes that the media has a fundamental role in being part of people’s lives and the city in a positive way, going far beyond advertising messages. Being able to use our assets to bring art and make people aware, even more so in partnership with Urban Arts – which speaks perfectly with this alignment – is a great pleasure and becomes our commitment.”
This is not the first time that PAD and Urban Arts have teamed up to bring art and awareness to Brazilian streets through OOH media. In June of this year, the companies worked together to commemorate World Oceans Day, transforming 20 of PAD’s highly visible digital panels in Rio de Janeiro into screens for displaying illustrations and photographs that praised the marine fauna and flora, with participation of the Instituto Mar Adentro. In August, both promoted an open-air exhibition in celebration of ethnic diversity, bringing to more than 30 PAD assets in Belo Horizonte works that were part of the Urban Arts portfolio that addressed the theme.
