Sales of the brand’s new pin will be reversed and applied to the cost of breast cancer diagnosis and treatment exams
Havaianas teamed up with Instituto Protea to launch a special pin for October Rosa, which will have 100% of its sales reverted to the NGO.
The shorter the time between the diagnosis of breast cancer and the start of treatment, the greater the chances of successful results. All funds raised by Instituto Protea, including sales of Havaianas tweezers, will be used to fund diagnostic tests and breast cancer treatment, says Cristina Assumpo, executive director of Instituto Protea.
During the month of October, employees of Alpargatas, the company that owns Havaianas, and salespeople from the brand’s stores will participate in a webinar given by the Institute to talk about the disease and the importance of self-care.
