Santander, the official bank of the Brazilian Free Fire League, innovates once again in the world of esports and brings a new award to the 8th edition of the LBFF. After the championship decision that takes place on the 15th, Banco dos gamers will award the best players with an exclusive jewel made in partnership with Vivara, in an unprecedented action in the Brazilian esports scenario.
Named “The Immortal Flame”, the ring will be delivered by Camilota, official presenter of the LBFF and the Bank’s ambassador for actions in the gaming world, to the 5 best players elected by a jury made up of coaches and athletes from the participating teams. The player who is elected MVP (Most Valuable Player) and the best player in the league final will also receive an exclusive crown after the decision.
The Ring was developed to immortalize the long path an esports athlete takes to reach the top. The “Immortal Flame” was developed together with Vivara, the largest jewelry chain in Latin America. The ring, valued at R$70,000, is made of 18K yellow gold, 23 grams of gold and 293 diamonds each.
The screening of the launch movie called “Imortal By Kond” will be made in an advertisement on 10/11 on all Santander’s social networks and on the day of the grand finale. During the opening of the broadcast, Camilota will interact with Kondzilla, protagonist of the campaign, to announce the new jewels of the tournament.
Danielle Sardenberg, Marketing Superintendent at Santander Brasil, emphasizes:
“Better than talking about winning, it’s funding the way there. Santander’s proposal is to support e-sports athletes in all their professional stages, from their professionalization to the ecstasy of winning the long-awaited LBFF trophy.”
The campaign makes an analogy about rough diamonds that only need to be cut to show their true brilliance, and that games are not just the gateway for many people: it is a stage to celebrate achievements. Danielle adds:
“We thought of a transformative ideal to idealize the jewelry. It is common among other sports for the best players to be recognized with pieces that symbolize an achievement. There is nothing more fair and rewarding to bring this celebration that praises and highlights the size of esports athletes in Brazil. A way to give an award worthy of the size of this competition.”
Finally, in the campaign, Kondzilla emphasizes that: “a rare gem like the talent of many brothers and sisters needs just that: a flame that lights up. And then the troop shines”.
LBFF 8 is broadcast by RedeTV! (Open TV) on Saturdays and Sundays, starting at 1 pm, and on Mondays via SPACE (closed TV) according to the channel’s schedule, in addition to the traditional broadcasts on Garena’s official channels on YouTube, Twitch and TikTok, starting at 1 pm , every Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
