Galeria, an agency created by executives Eduardo Simon, Rafael Urenha, Paulo Ilha and Pedro Cruz, announced that it has repurchased the minority stake in Publicis Groupe. With this move, the agency becomes 100% independent and Brazilian.
The agency currently has in its client portfolio the brands Ita, Natura, McDonalds, Vivo, TikTok and Resso, Enjoei, Seara Gourmet and Seara Nature, Kavak, Swile, Incrvel!, Rezende and Doriana.
We are grateful to Publicis Groupe for contributing to the launch of the agency, but even though their share was in the minority and there was no participation on the board or any intervention in the direction and day-to-day of the agency’s business, we made a point of carrying out this repurchase as soon as possible. rather to serve the purpose for which the Gallery was created: to be independent and genuinely Brazilian and help transform the market by building consistent results for the brands we work with, said Eduardo Simon, CEO and one of the founding partners of the Gallery.
During its first year of operation, the Gallery developed Vitrine, a hub specialized in creating and managing out-of-home media campaigns, and the TikTok Hub, a hub that works in partnership with TikTok to develop actions for brands on the platform. .
We had a very special first year. We doubled in size, quadrupled the number of customers, built specialized hubs and created cases that contributed to elevating Brazilian creativity and the brands’ businesses. The challenge for the second year, from the moment we consolidate ourselves as a 100% independent and Brazilian agency, is qualitative, in the sense of improving our corporate culture and contributing to continue transforming the Brazilian advertising market, added Simon.
