GUT has announced the appointment of Andrea Diquez as the agency’s first Global Chief Executive Officer.
Andrea will be responsible for supervising and growing the entire GUT network, alongside founders Anselmo Ramos and Gaston Bigio and partners and leaders, starting on November 2nd.
As we grew and opened our offices around the world, we felt the need for someone who could help us with our rapid expansion, as we continued to cultivate and spread our culture through the network. So for us, Andrea was the perfect person for this challenge,” said Gaston Bigio, Co-Founder and Creative Chairman of GUT.
The new Global CEO, born in Venezuela, has over 28 years of experience in the industry, having served as CEO at DDB Chicago and Saatchi & Saatchi New York. Throughout her career, Andrea has led brands and businesses across multiple markets and continents, driving organizational transformation and delivering high-impact results for clients globally.

In 2018, Andrea was honored as an Ad Age Woman to Watch, where she was recognized for her ability to create change in the industry by building diverse teams that focus on delivering impactful creative solutions to clients. She was also chosen as an early honoree of Adweek’s 2019 ADCOLOR Champion Award and was a member of the Cannes Lions Creative Effectiveness Jury and named Co-President of the USA Effie Grand Jury in 2020.
